The annual ADR report summarises the company's dangerous goods activities and safety oversight. It is more than a table of tonnes transported.
What information is needed?
Depending on the actual activities, data is collected on goods and quantities, checks, training, incidents, identified shortcomings and implementation of recommendations. The company's consigning, transport, loading and other roles must be clearly distinguished. Correct units and traceable source records are important for data accuracy.
Preparation and retention
ADR 1.8.3.3 provides for an annual report to company management; it is retained for five years and made available to national authorities on request. To prepare it, the company must provide factual data in good time. We agree the handover deadline in the service agreement.
When is it submitted to LTSA?
Under point 10.3 of the current 2BE-32 procedure, the annual ADR road transport activity report is submitted to LTSA on request: within 20 working days, unless the notice specifies otherwise. Old forms still available online should not be relied on or taken to imply a single annual submission date applying to every company.
Annual and incident reports are different documents
An accident or incident report is assessed under separate criteria and submission rules. It does not replace emergency response or other mandatory notifications. A form intended for the annual report is not automatically suitable for an incident report.
